Domaine Vitori is a family domain of 25 hectares located in the south-east of France, more exactly in the Var department in Pourrières (83910) at the foot of the Sainte Victoire mountain. The estate is located in the protected geographical area of the Côtes de Provence appellation and the Côtes de Provence Sainte Victoire denomination.

Our commitment to biodiversity

The estate has always been committed to respecting our environment and biodiversity through its work, using only organic fertilisers, natural products (copper, sulphur, nettle and seaweed purin) and mechanical weeding both in and between the rows. Our work tool is above all the soil and the living organisms around us. We're giving concrete expression to this work by obtaining Organic Farming certification and the AB label in 2022, after several years of working on this voluntary approach, which is full of meaning for us, but without the label.

Soils

The soils of the upper Arc basin are mainly clay-limestone with some plots with a silty or even sandy tendency.

Weather

The climate of this land is hot and dry characteristic of the Mediterranean climate with an influence of two main winds which are the East wind and the famous Mistral. This limits the development of the main fungal diseases of the vine making this vineyard in Provence one of the most natural vineyards in France.

Grape varieties

Known grape varieties such as Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan, Syrah and Caladoc are found on the estate for the rosés and reds, as well as Rolle, Sémillon and Muscat petit grain for the whites and sparkling wines.
